AltX has appointed a new national leadership team to drive its Private Lending capability, reflecting a strategic focus on a growing segment of the non-bank lending market.

Laura Stanley and Steven Filler will jointly lead the Private Lending division, bringing extensive experience across sales, credit, and broker engagement.

The move follows a significant expansion in AltX’s broker footprint, particularly through the growth of its long-term mortgages offering, led by Royden D’Vaz. As more brokers engage with AltX across its long-term lending solutions, the strengthened Private Lending team is intended to provide a dedicated pathway for complex or time-sensitive scenarios.

Royden D’Vaz, said the growth of the business has broadened AltX’s relationships with brokers nationwide.

“We’re working with a growing number of brokers who trust AltX for their clients’ long-term lending needs, and as those relationships deepen, brokers increasingly look to us for solutions when a deal becomes more complex or falls outside traditional parameters. Strengthening our Private Lending capability ensures we can support brokers across the full spectrum of scenarios.”

AltX’s Private Lending offering includes loan terms of up to 36 months and facilities of up to $40 million, supporting scenarios where speed, flexibility, or complexity may fall outside traditional lending parameters.

Leadership appointments

Stanley previously served as NSW State Manager at Assetline (now AltX Lending), where she led the state’s sales team across the lender’s full product suite and expanded broker relationships across the region.

Filler joins the role from AltX’s credit team, where he held senior positions and developed deep expertise across underwriting and structuring complex transactions.

Supporting brokers in a growing segment

Stanley said the strengthened leadership structure would enhance AltX’s ability to support brokers seeking tailored funding solutions.

“AltX is one of a small number of lenders with a decade-plus track record in Private Lending,” she said.

“We have the funding breadth and operational infrastructure to deliver bespoke solutions for brokers and their clients, particularly in complex or time-sensitive scenarios. I’m excited to co-lead this team and deepen our support for brokers nationally.”

Filler added that his credit background would help the team deliver practical solutions quickly.

“Coming from a credit perspective, I understand what makes deals work, how to solve problems for brokers, and where our appetite sits,” he said.

“Brokers are looking for certainty and responsiveness. Working with Laura, we’re focused on delivering outcomes when traditional pathways may not be available.”

Strategic focus for Assetline

Steven Beinart, Co-CEO of the AltX Financial Group, said the appointments reflect AltX’s commitment to strengthening its position in private lending.
